Do not underestimate the 28-day lead time. If you apply for TikTok Shop category access before your FBO registration is active, your application will be rejected. Get this sorted first.
HACCP Plan
If you manufacture your own beverages, you need a documented Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan.
A HACCP plan identifies biological, chemical, and physical hazards in your production process and establishes controls to prevent them. This is standard practice for any UK food manufacturer, but TikTok specifically requires it as part of the qualification documentation.
What TikTok expects:
- A written HACCP plan covering your production process
- Evidence that the plan is actively maintained and reviewed
- Records of any corrective actions taken
